This segment of the Osceola Parkway Extension is a new road being designed by the Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) to meet the traffic demands in Osceola County.
A Public Workshop was held on November 19, 2019 at the Lake Nona Middle School Cafeteria. The “Split Oak Minimization” route was chosen. CFX held a virtual board meeting on June 11, 2020. During this meeting, CFX announced it would take on $1.2 billion dollars’ worth of additional debt in order to proceed with this and other projects.
