This project is designed to improve traffic conditions along Kennedy Boulevard in Orange County.  Orange County is currently working to acquire property necessary for the construction of the roadway. Construction for Segment 2 is currently scheduled to begin in February 2027.

Kennedy Boulevard will be widened from 2 lanes to 4 lanes with the addition of sidewalks and bike lanes.  The project is in two phases: Segment 1 from Forest City Road intersection to be constructed with the new All American Boulevard Roadway project and Segment 2 from East of the Forest City Road intersection to Wymore Road as part of the INVEST initiative.
