Project Description:

FDOT is widening about 4.7 miles of U.S. 301 (State Road 35) from County Road 525E to Florida’s Turnpike in Sumter County. A portion of U.S. 301 will be realigned to avoid impacts within the city of Coleman. This project is in the design phase. Appraisals are scheduled to begin in late 2024.

This project is part of the Moving Florida Forward Infrastructure Initiative.
