This project by the Florida Department of Transportation along Orange Avenue/ US 17-192 will modify median openings and create wider sidewalks, and upgrade pedestrian crosswalks, sidewalk curb ramps, intersection lighting and pedestrian signals. Eastbound left turn lanes will be added at Fairbanks and Orange Avenues. Bicycle traffic from Orange Avenue to Lee Road will be moved to a new multi-use path.
FDOT is currently in the Design Phase of the project, which is expected to be complete at the end of 2025.
