Project Description:
Osceola County and the City of St. Cloud conducted a Project Development and Environmental (PD&E) Study of Canoe Creek Road. The Study evaluated widening Canoe Creek Road to a four-lane divided roadway from Deer Run Road to US Highway 192, a length of 4.65 miles. Improvements will also include sidewalks and buffered bicycle lanes. Design of the project is currently underway.
A public meeting for an additional segment of Canoe Creek from Deer Run Road to the Southport Connector is scheduled for April 29, 2026 (virtual) and in-person on April 30, 2026. See details here. This segment of the project is still in its Project Development and Environment Study phase.
