In late 2019, the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners refinanced bonds originally used to build the Osceola Parkway. This $200 million, along with state and federal grants and “mobility fees” collected by the County, will be used to design and construct key roadways in Osceola County.

Osceola County hosted a public hearing regarding the proposed improvements to Neptune Road from Partin Settlement Road to U.S. Highway 192 in Osceola County Sept. 24, 2020 and displayed its final plans. There was also a public meeting held on April 15, 2021 and you can view the presentation here.

Osceola County is designing improvements to a 3.5 mile segment of Neptune Road, between Partin Settlement Road and US 192. The County needs to acquire additional right-of-way along Neptune Road to accommodate these improvements. Preferred alternatives have been chosen – the Northern alternative from Partin Settlement Road to Old Canoe Creek and Alternative B from Old Canoe Creek to US 192.
