Deborah Poindexter is a Florida attorney, licensed in both State and Federal courts. She provides legal representation in the areas of Eminent Domain, Real Estate, Business and Family Law to individuals and businesses throughout Florida. In addition, Deborah serves as a Guardian Ad Litem in domestic relations cases.

Admitted to the bar in 2004, Deborah’s eminent domain experience began as a consultant for several governmental entities including the Central Florida Expressway Authority, Florida Department of Transportation Districts 4, 6 and 7, Polk, Osceola, Seminole and Clay Counties. As a consultant, she managed all aspects of the eminent domain process, including negotiating; cost estimating; participating in and coordination of public meetings; pre, during and post-litigation matters; specialty property acquisitions such as park and public safety facilities; relocation assistance; and fee and easement acquisitions not under the threat of eminent domain. Today, Deborah’s practice focuses on litigation matters in the areas of eminent domain and family law.

Deborah was born in Calatayud, Spain, and is fluent in both Spanish and English. She received degrees from Florida State University and the University of West Florida. She earned her J.D. from Barry University School of Law.
